Position Description
You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ SCIENTIST (GENERAL ENGINEER/ ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/ ELECTRONICS ENGINEER/ COMPUTER SCIENTIST) in the Battlespace Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will serve as the Chief Engineer for Battlespace Division, maintaining technical cognizance of the Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation Facility (ACETEF) architecture overall.
- You will maintain the architectural elements provided by the Division, including environments, interfaces and visualization capabilities (where applicable).
- You will provide technical expertise in the areas of strategic architecture and systems engineering (requirements, verification, modeling and simulation, computer sciences, enabling technologies and concepts, development and test processes).
- You will develop and maintain Division long range strategic investment roadmaps and plans, obtaining needed resources from Command activities.
- You will manage Division Navy Improvement and Modernization efforts and joint service development projects.
- You will prepare and present technical papers and presentations.
