Position Overview
DysTech is seeking an Intermediate Technical Analyst to support the U.S. Coast Guard's Office of Resource Management, Reimbursable Management Division (CG-835). This position plays an important role in managing the complete lifecycle of financial transactions and interagency agreements between federal agencies.
The successful candidate will work closely with government personnel to manage financial agreements, analyze transaction data, resolve discrepancies, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve business processes. This position is well suited for individuals with experience in federal financial management, acquisitions, resource management, or related government operations who enjoy solving complex problems and working directly with customers.
Key Responsibilities
As an Intermediate Technical Analyst, you will:
- Manage the full lifecycle of Interagency Agreements (IAA), Interagency Reimbursable Work Agreements (IRWA), and assisted acquisition transactions from initiation through closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers, coordinating funding, execution, performance tracking, reconciliation, and closeout activities.
- Monitor, reconcile, and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
- Research and resolve complex financial, administrative, and system-related issues across multiple government financial platforms.
- Advise government personnel on financial policies, procedures, regulations, and transaction requirements.
- Prepare reports, briefings, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation for program leadership.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and improve customer service.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support mission objectives while maintaining accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Financial management experience
- Experience supporting federal financial management, resource management, acquisition, budgeting, grants, or related government business operations.
- Experience using the U.S. Treasury G-Invoicing system.
- Knowledge of federal financial management principles, policies, and regulations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
