Job Description

Staff member of Major Alterations that covers processing of policy benefits alterations and preparation of endorsement for contractual benefit changes. To process and carry out duty and task assigned by supervisor to ensure achieving the set targeted Turn Around time and Service Level Agreement for the department and organisation.
• To process policyholder's application within authority / access given.
• To process and carry out duty and task assigned by supervisor to ensure achieving the set targeted Turn Around time and Service Level Agreement for the department and organisation.
• Attend to enquiries and complaint from customers (internal/ external), agents, and vendors; closely monitor until closure.
• Participate in projects and initiatives set in order to achieve the departmental and organization key goals.
• Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
• Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
• To take on any other ad-hoc task or assignments assigned from superior or managements.


1. Qualification
• Possess either Degree in Business Administrative, Finance, or any related field(s).
• Majoring in Insurance or Finance would be added advantage.
• Professional qualifications i.e. LOMA AMII/ACII, FLMI.

2. Working experience
• Fresh Graduate or minimum 1-2 years working experience in business
• Working experience in insurance related fields would be added advantage

• Independent & strong interpersonal skills
• Communication skill, with ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to produce high quality work under pressure
• Ability to translate business issues/challenges into effective/creative program solutions

4. Knowledge
• Life and/or Group and/or Banca Insurance
• Policy servicing guidelines & procedures
• Product Knowledge
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Words & PowerPoint)
• Technical knowledge of Life Underwriting
