Function

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building SQL views to expose grid‑related datasets in a clean, structured and user‑friendly manner.
  • Writing Python code to perform calculations and develop data transformations.
  • Creating Databricks dashboards that present relevant operational insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Reviewing peers' code to ensure quality, maintainability and consistency.
  • Collaborating with data engineers and business experts to understand requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated student who meets the following criteria:

  • Bachelor or Master or Phd (completed or ongoing) in Software Engineering, Data Engineering or a similar discipline (mandatory).
  • Strong interest in working with SQL, Python, and data processing.
  • Affinity with dashboarding and data visualization.
  • Understanding of data modelling concepts is a plus.
  • Language skills: fluent in English and/or Dutch and/or French.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and willingness to take ownership.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
