Job Description



This is a remote position.

The Opportunity:

At Pentoz, we believe that the future of mobile lies in agility, speed, and a unified codebase. As an Ionic Developer, you will build stunning, high-performance apps that deliver native-like experiences across iOS, Android, and Web using the Ionic Framework and modern front-end stacks.

You’ll be at the center of multiple industry use cases—from staffing platforms to hotel management apps—delivering real impact with every release.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • App Development: Designing and developing hybrid mobile apps using Ionic 5/6, Capacitor/Cordova, Angular/React, and TypeScript.

  • Cross-Platform Delivery: Ensuring consistent UI/UX and performance across iOS and Android using a single, scalable codebase.

  • Integration & APIs: Working with REST APIs, Firebase, SQLite, push notifications, camera, location, and native device features.

  • Performance Optimization: Delivering fast, reliable, memory-efficient apps with smooth animations and responsive designs.

  • Build & Release Management: Building, testing, and deploying apps using Appflow, Xcode, Android Studio, and the App/Play Store workflows.

  • Collaboration: Working closely with designers, QA, backend developers, and product managers in a fast-moving agile environment.

This Role Is For You If:

  • You have 2–5+ years of experience building mobile apps using Ionic Framework.

  • You are strong in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one of Angular or React.

  • You’ve deployed apps to production and understand app store requirements.

  • You understand mobile-first design, responsive layouts, and device compatibility.

  • You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a remote, startup-like culture.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Experience with Capacitor plugins or native SDK integration

  • Familiarity with Firebase, OneSignal, Stripe, or Azure Functions

  • Developed or contributed to Ionic open-source components

  • Experience with CI/CD, Appflow, or TestFlight/Firebase App Distribution

  • Built PWA (Progressive Web Apps) using Ionic
