- 2-4 years ofexperience in Java/J2EE.
- Strong fundamentals programming skills, OOPS concepts, RDBMS concepts.
- Should have exposure to tech. and database design of module(s) within aproject.
- Should be able to apply design patterns and best practices in actual problemscenarios.
- Hands on experience on Core Java/JSP/Servlets/Struts/Spring/Hibernate and/orother frameworks.
- Decent exposure to JavaScript, XML, XSLT.
- Exposure to ANT, CVS/SVN etc.
- Should have a complete end-to-end understanding of one or more J2EE compliantapplication server/servlet containers like Apache Tomcat/JBOSS/Web sphere etc.
- Should have executed projects in a collaborative team environment.
- Should be able to lead a team of 1-2 developers technically. Prior experienceto manage a module within a project would be an added advantage.
- Should have excellent communication skills. The role requires frequent clientcommunication.
