About the Job you are considering:

The Senior Java Developer will play a key role in the strategic replacement of a legacy clearing platform by designing developing and delivering robust scalable interfaces and integration services using modern cloud native architecture principles The role is responsible for building high-performance Java based microservices that enable secure resilient and efficient data exchange across critical clearing and post trade systems

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Mandatory Skills

• 5 years of Full Stack Engineering experience
• 5 years of React or React Native development
• 5 years of Java development experience
• Spring Boot framework expertise
• RESTful API design development and integration
• Microservices architecture and implementation
• SQL and database technologies
• Test Driven Development TDD and Behaviour Driven Development BDD
• Unit integration and end-to-end testing practices
• GitLab and CICD pipeline implementation
• Open API Specification OAS YAML
• Cloud engineering experience AWS preferred
• Secure coding and application security best practices
• DevOps and Continuous Delivery methodologies
• Strong stakeholder management and client facing communication skills
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
• Agile delivery methodologies and cross functional team collaboration
