Job Description

As a Java Developer you will be responsible for: 

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Business Analysts, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
  • Contribute to system integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of complex production issues.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and application lifecycle management.
  • Support the ongoing modernisation and optimisation of Revenue’s digital platforms.

 What we require from the candidate: 

 

  • Strong experience in Java (Spring / Spring Boot)development in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Developerwithin Agile software delivery teams.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based or distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
