Java Developer- Job Description

ICF Olson is looking for top-tier Java web developers for current and future JEE and Adobe CQ5 implementation projects. Java developers participate in all software development lifecycle phases from requirements, architecture, design, and development to administration and enhancement for internal and customer facing products and services. Successful candidates will enjoy sharing knowledge, learning from their peers and excel in an environment with light guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

*Design and develop enterprise web applications

*Participate in all levels of the SDLC, including direct client interaction

*Ability to collaborate and work in an agile team environment

*Mentor team members

*Communicate with stakeholders

Basic Qualification

*Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Required Skills & Experience

*2-5 years of Enterprise Java

*Understanding and experience of OOD patterns

*JEE (JSP, Servlet, JDBC)

*Experience developing and consuming web services (SOAP and Rest)

*Experience implementing major enterprise Java frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring, or Google Guice

*Experience working with relational databases

*Proficient with testing frameworks such as JUnit or Spock

*Proficient with AJAX, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

*Excellent communication skills - written and oral

*Familiarity with Maven

*Git or SVN experience

*Proficient with basic Linux or related platform concepts and commands

Desired Skills

*Javascript MV* frameworks such as Knockout.js, Backbone.js, or AngularJS

*Groovy or other JVM language

*Node.js

*NoSQL
