Job description

We are seeking a highly capable Java Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs), Multithreading, and hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend development principles and a passion for writing clean, testable, and efficient code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services using Core Java.

  • Implement robust object-oriented solutions with proper design patterns.

  • Develop and optimize multithreaded components to handle concurrent processes efficiently.

  • Write comprehensive unit tests using frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or similar tools.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.

  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2–7 years of professional experience in Java backend development.

  • Strong command of Core Java, including Collections, Exception Handling, and File I/O.

  • Excellent understanding of OOPs principles and design patterns.

  • Proven experience with multithreading/concurrency and synchronization techniques.

  • Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or Mockito.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols.

  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

  • Good understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.

  • Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Log4j, SLF4J).

  • Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

  • Exposure to Spring Framework (especially Spring Boot) is a plus.
