About Multifonds
Founded in 1995, Multifonds is a leading global provider of proprietary investment accounting and transfer agency software, used to administer more than $10tn of assets, making it a key contributor to the global financial system.
Multifonds products perform a range of highly critical back- and middle-office fund services tasks, such as net asset value calculations, intra-day investment management, and investor lifecycle support across Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
Multifonds was part of Temenos and has recently gone through a carve-out with the backing of Montagu Private Equity. It is one of the few leading pure-play software companies in the space, with a broad coverage of jurisdictions across APAC, Europe, and LATAM. The company is headquartered in Luxembourg with a presence in 15 other countries to support its loyal, global customer-base.
Multifonds is now operating as a new standalone company, led by its existing management team.

In this role, you will be expected to develop a strong understanding of the underlying solution, strengthen the technical stack, and proactively contribute to the product’s design and development processes.
We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and experienced R&D Engineer to join our team on a long-term project. - Collaborate closely with the product team to understand user needs and translate them into product features.
- Review code for quality, clarity, maintainability, and alignment with internal and industry standards.
- Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues across the stack.
- Take ownership of deliverables and demonstrate accountability throughout the development lifecycle.

- Experience: Experience with automated testing frameworks and system monitoring tools. Any experience working in R&D environments or on low-code/no-code platforms would be considered a strong asset.

- Proficiency in Spring Framework and Spring Boot, with hands-on development experience.
- Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks will be considered a strong asset; React, Vue, or Svelte, solid understanding of component-driven architecture, state management, and responsive UI development.
- Soft skills: Strong ability of writing clean, maintainable unit tests (JUnit). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Systems knowledge: Good knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with software engineering best practices, design patterns, and clean code principles.
- Languages: Excellent English communication skills for global stakeholder interaction; French and/or any European language would be considered an asset
- Global Operations: Ability to work across global time zones when required
What we offer?
