In this role, the Java Developer will develop new andenhance current web and back-end enterprise applications. The Java Developer is responsible forengaging in requirements gathering when working on new projects, successfullydelivering work as specified, and participating in all aspects of maintainingand improving our application portfolio.
Experience
Qualified candidates should have two or more years ofexperience in enterprise development. Qualified candidates must also have deep experience with OOP, Java,JavaScript, HTML and CSS, as well as a passion for OOD and AOP.
Job Requirements
- Understand and implement technical and functional designrequirements outlined by Business Analysts and Project Managers.
- Ability to manage several concurrent projects.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking andcommunication skills.
- Collaborate with BA’s, PM’s and subject matter experts tocontribute to the creation of functional requirements and implementation ofthese into end products.
- Be self-motivated with the ability to establish and achievegoals.
- Be able to make and implement decisions beneficial to thebusiness and be cost-effective with problem solving.
- Design, code and test technical solutions in adherence tothe highest quality standards.
- Proactively and effectively communicate project updates,issues, and other status items to appropriate organizational level.
- Take initiative to recognize and recommend areas ofimprovement.
