Role Description
Job Role – Java Developer with QA
Location - Mississauga, Ontario
Job Description: -
· 8 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role with a proven track record in designing and developing test automation frameworks
· Excellent programming skills in Java with a strong understanding of the Spring Boot framework
· Handson test automation development experience using various languages like Java Python and TypeScript
· Experience with industry standard opensource automation tools such as Selenium Playwright and Rest Assured experience with UFT is a plus
· Proven experience in designing end-to-end tests following the test pyramid and a good understanding of different test frameworks for web and desktop applications
· Strong understanding and working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases with experience implementing automated data validations
· Working experience with AI tools for software development and knowledge in prompt engineering to optimize results from AI platforms
· Experience designing test strategies for complex applications in dynamic fast paced development environments and supporting production releases
· Previous experience in trading platforms or capital markets is preferred
· Comfortable writing complex queries and experience with reporting tools
