Roles & Responsibilities -

  1. Design and develop test cases for both frontend and backend components of applications built using Java technologies
  2. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing across web applications to ensure end-to-end quality
  3. Validate REST APIs, microservices, and backend services using tools like Postman or similar platforms
  4. Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and identify edge cases early in the development cycle
  5. Work on testing UI components built using modern frameworks like React or Angular to ensure proper behavior and responsiveness
  6. Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring proper documentation and follow‑up until resolution
  7. Automate test cases wherever possible using tools such as Selenium or similar automation frameworks
  8. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance of web applications through testing
  9. Participate in sprint activities including requirement analysis, test planning, and release validation
  10. Continuously suggest improvements in testing processes, tools, and quality standards for better product delivery
