Java Full Stack Developer – React, Kafka

CTG is seeking to fill a Java Full Stack Developer – React, Kafka position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Duties: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using Java/JEE and modern web technologies. Develop and maintain scalable backend services, Java Web Services, APIs, and enterprise application components. Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using ReactJS. Develop and support Talon and Talon Batch applications and integrations. Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka for messaging and data integration. Apply Java development frameworks and programming practices, including dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, and functional programming. Implement data access, transaction management, and batch processing solutions. Integrate applications with enterprise systems and external services. Participate in test-driven development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Follow DevOps methodologies and contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, and application support activities. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Experience developing Java Web Services and integrating enterprise applications. Hands-on experience with ReactJS for front-end development. Experience with Java Talon and Talon Batch. Experience implementing Kafka-based messaging and event-driven integrations. Experience with Java frameworks, data access, transaction management, and batch processing. Experience with software development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and production support. Experience working with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated deployment processes is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote development environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $83,000 to $106,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
