Job Description
Technical Skills
- Must have 7+years of experience
- Outstanding skills in Core Java 1.8 or above, J2EE
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON and Ajax
- Experience in Struts, Spring, Hibernate frameworks
- Good understanding of Application Servers; experience in Web Sphere would be a plus
- Experience in developing applications using IBM RAD
- Experience in IBM MQ
- Experience in web services – SOAP & REST
- Work experience in EJB would be a plus
- Strong understanding of DB Design and hands-on skills in writing Oracle SQL Queries
- Exposure to the entire Software Development Life Cycle – Waterfall and Agile
- “Java SE8 OCP” or “Java EE6 Web Component Developer” or “Java EE 7 Application Developer” certification would be a plus
- Experience in building web portals with huge traffic
- Strong Object Oriented design and analysis skills, specifically in the use of design patterns
- Understanding of Deployment and Installation Software
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s in engineering / Masters in computer science
Non-Technical:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exude a strong sense of teamwork while working with internal and external teams
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at one time in fast and demanding environment.
- Work with management & implementation team to understand business requirements
Responsibilities
- Guide a team of 5 to 7 people technically
- Providing timely and correct status updates to all stakeholders
- End-to-End implementation of change requests
- Requirements gathering, estimation, design, build and rollout
- Ensure productivity of the team comprising 5-7 members
- Define the coding standards and ensure compliance
- Review code and unit test results
- Ensure 100% process compliance
- Meet the delivery commitments
- Help the delivery manager or lead in metrics reporting
- Reduce people dependency with proper documentation
