Job Summary




This job posting is for an existing, active vacancy. We are seeking a Java Microservices Developer – Murex Integration with 7+ years of experience in developing Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and related enterprise frameworks. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in designing and developing integrations with the Murex platform, along with strong experience in REST APIs, Kafka/JMS messaging technologies, and distributed system integration patterns. Knowledge of CI/CD practices, performance optimization, testing, and Agile delivery methodologies is essential. This position is based in Toronto and follows a hybrid work model.

 

 

Position :Java Microservices Developer – Murex Integration

Location: Toronto/Hybrid (3 days onsite)

 

Summary:

 

7+ Years experience developing Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and related enterprise frameworks. Proven experience designing and developing interfaces and integrations with the Murex platform.Experience with REST APIs, messaging technologies (Kafka/JMS), and integration patterns in distributed systems. Strong understanding of system integration, performance optimization, testing, and CI/CD practices in Agile environments. Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills with experience delivering scalable, high-quality integration solutions.

 

Mandatory Skills

  • 7+ years of experience developing Java-based Microservices using Spring Boot and related enterprise frameworks.
  • Proven experience designing and developing interfaces and integrations with the Murex platform.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and/or JMS.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns in distributed systems.
  • Experience with system integration and enterprise application integration.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization and application tuning.
  • Experience with testing methodologies and test automation practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Experience delivering scalable, high-quality integration solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Deep expertise in Murex architecture and workflows.
  • Experience in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking environments.
  • Exposure to cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise integration and modernization projects.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems design best practices.

The pay range for this role is $110,000 to $120,000 CAD per annum (max) including any bonuses or variable pay.
