Job description

Application Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices
  • Build RESTful APIs and backend services for high-performance applications
  • Implement clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices

Database Management

  • Design and manage MongoDB collections, schemas, and queries
  • Optimize NoSQL database performance and indexing strategies
  • Handle large-scale data storage and retrieval efficiently

Cloud Integration (AWS & GCP)

  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS)
  • Work with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, GKE)
  • Implement cloud-native architectures and serverless solutions
  • Manage cloud security, scalability, and cost optimization

Microservices & API Development

  • Develop and manage microservices architecture
  • Integrate APIs, third-party systems, and event-driven services
  • Implement messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes
  • Monitor applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong experience in Java (8/11/17+) and Spring Boot
  • Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security)
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB (NoSQL database design & optimization)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices

Cloud Skills

  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, VPC)
  • Experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE, Pub/Sub)
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and deployment strategies

DevOps & Tools

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git)
  • Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems
  • Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA (even in hybrid environments)
  • Experience with API gateways and service mesh (Istio)
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
