As a Javascript developer you would be part of the team of elite engineers and have a direct impact on millions of users. Writing Javascript would be difficult but building great experiences is even more.

As a Javascript developer at Housing, you would be solving complex problems and ease out the process of house hunting. In an era of multiple browsers (both old and new) it's challenging to get the best and seamless experience on all devices and you would be asked to achieve this. You will have complete ownership of products that you are working upon.

About the Position

We at Housing, follow agile methodology and as a Javascript developers you will greatly impact the product as a whole. We use some of best industry practices, products and tools to help our developers.

In terms of front end technologies, we use Backbone.js, Require.js and Coffeescript heavily to build our products. Also some products are surely held strong by Node.js. Other technologies you will work on could be React.js, React Native, MarionetteJS, EmberJS etc.

In the world of Javascript, tools and technologies are coming up each day at an excessive fast pace and as a Javascript developer you would get an opportunity to learn these and develop products for real users on that.

We are looking for Smart Engineer's with

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proficient in Problem Solving, Data Structures and Algorithms
• Strong hold of key concepts of Javascript and basic libraries like JQuery.
• Working knowledge of MVC Javascript framework like Angular, Backbone, Knockout, Ember, etc.
• Experience in writing optimized javascript
• Experience in frameworks like BackboneJS, RequireJS, LESS (desirable).
• Working knowledge of NodeJS (desirable)
• Knowledge of Back end web technologies like Ruby on Rails (desirable)

Preferred one's would be

• Open Source Contributors
• People with design sense
• Knowledge of Design patterns
• Experienced in writing robust and clean code
