Job Summary: We are looking for a JavaScript Developer with solid eCommerce experience to join our development team. You will contribute to the development and evolution of customer-facing web applications, working across frontend and backend codebases to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions.

This role suits someone who is comfortable working with a high degree of ownership, engaging proactively with teammates and stakeholders, and contributing to both technical solutions and team effectiveness in a fast-moving environment.

Working with:

  • A small, collaborative team of developers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, product owners, and delivery leads
  • Regional eCommerce and marketing stakeholders
  • External partners and platform vendors where required

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Results Area:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain JavaScript-based eCommerce (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) applications with a strong focus on quality, performance, and reliability
  • Build reusable, maintainable components following modern web development best practices
  • Collaborate closely with designers and product teams to deliver accessible, responsive, and user-friendly user experiences
  • Integrate with APIs, third-party services, and eCommerce platform capabilities
  • Take responsibility for features end‑to‑end, including implementation, review, follow-up fixes, and iterative improvements
  • Participate actively in code reviews and technical discussions, contributing ideas and constructive feedback
  • Engage in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives, helping improve both delivery and ways of working
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, or improvement opportunities in code, processes, or tooling

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • Strong professional experience with JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)/SFRA or similar enterprise eCommerce platforms
  • Strong frontend development skills, with an eye for usability and clean UI implementation are a plus
  • Proven experience working on eCommerce or other transactional websites
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles
  • Experience working with APIs and asynchronous programming patterns
  • Confident working with Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments
  • A pragmatic, quality-focused mindset with attention to performance, usability, and maintainability
  • Experience with React and component-based frontend architectures
  • Experience with Node.js and Express for server-side development
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines                      

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Office based in Uxbridge, London, with great access to public transport or provided parking. Hybrid working available with 3 days working in the office and flexible to attend meetings during other days.

Occasional travel might be required.
