Finicast develops software to help managers better understand their business, create and adapt operating plans and execute towards their vision. We are building a database system and frontend application designed to handle the next generation of business intelligence and finance workloads.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Javascript React developer with deep knowledge in Javascript. The right candidate will be familiar with React and enjoy crafting beautiful UX. The candidate will be comfortable working in a start-up environment, be willing to iterate quickly, have a great sense of user experience and business needs, and be able to collaborate with low level, database systems engineers as well as our business partners.

The Finicast Software Stack

The Finicast platform is developed in C/C++, React and NodeJS. We use React and NodeJS for our frontend application and C/C++ for our high-performance code.

Required Skills

  • You love to craft beautiful UX
  • You have a very firm grasp of JavaScript / React
  • You are comfortable with writing reliable end-to-end testing automation
  • You are familiar with NodeJS and have no problem diving in and coding in the backend, if needed
  • Some level of DevOps abilities is a big plus

Additional Requirements

  • A specific desire to work at an early stage start-up and an understanding of the pros and cons associated with this
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) is preferred, but not required for candidates with demonstrated abilities
  • At least 5 years of programming experience (personal projects included)
  • Desire to interface with business users and demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into beautiful UX
