The job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Position will support the NAVSEA 05H Executive Front Office performing a wide variety of human resources support duties requiring knowledge and application of human resources guidelines and regulations; experience processing and tracking human resources related actions.
- Answering phone calls from a variety of inquiries from NAVSEA 05H employees
- Responding to email inquiries
- Scheduling appointments
- Gathering information from files, databases and documents, entering information into systems and databases
- Utilizing software programs to extract, revise or sort information from files, records or databases
- Processing administrative based actions utilizing various automated systems
- Utilizing various Microsoft Office based software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
- Supporting personnel on-boarding and off-boarding to the program
- Tracking and arranging interviews for potential candidates with functional leads
- Performing quality assurance checks, processing, and account requests for all System Authorization Access Requests
- Developing SOP’s for uploading account access forms to SharePoint
- Providing introductory orientation to new personnel and coordinates assignment of project equipment
- Coordinate and manage office space and seating/unseating personnel.
- Point of Contact to manage assets, iPhones and software with Activity Chief Information Officer (ACIO)
Mandatory Skill Requirements:
This position requires a dynamic, independent and trustworthy person able to work with minimal direction to accomplish broad objectives and conformance to policy. The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills lending to simultaneous professional management of multiple tasks
- Knowledge and ability to operate full suite of Microsoft Office software
- Typing correspondences, memorandums and developing spread sheets
- Knowledge of Navy correspondence, formats and guidelines
- Employs advanced professional customer service communication techniques to ensure professional and productive voice, written, and electronic communications with customers
