Work Arrangement: Primarily based at a contractor site within 30 driving miles of Colorado Springs/ Washington, D.C., with onsite support at Department of State facilities as required
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Junior Java Developer (Programmer 1) to help build web and backend applications and services supporting a credentialing and case management system. Youll join a development team creating next-generation customer engagement systems for federal service agencies using Java/Spring REST APIs, modern web technologies, and a continuous integration environment.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and an active Final DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Job Responsibilities
Develop enterprise applications using Java.
Build web and backend applications and services.
Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs.
Support credentialing and case management system capabilities.
Develop front-end functionality using technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
Participate in Agile software development activities.
Work within a continuous integration environment.
Use Java development tools including Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
Collaborate with developers building customer engagement solutions for federal service agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
US Citizen
Active Secret Clearance
2+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications.
At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java.
At least 1 year of experience working in an Agile environment.
At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
Active Final DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Located in Colorado or the DMV area.
Experience supporting a large-scale federal IT program.
Experience working within the SAFe Agile delivery framework.
