Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Junior Program Coordinator / Associate Project Manager to support cloud and enterprise software initiatives within a Financial Services environment. This role will assist with project planning, coordination, documentation, status tracking, and reporting across SDLC and non SDLC initiatives.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!.
This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA or Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
CGI is seeking a Junior Program Coordinator / Associate Project Manager to support cloud and enterprise software initiatives within a Financial Services environment. This role will assist with project planning, coordination, documentation, status tracking, and reporting across SDLC and non SDLC initiatives.
The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, technology teams, and other cross functional partners to help ensure projects are delivered on schedule. Responsibilities include maintaining project plans, tracking risks and dependencies, coordinating meetings, preparing status reports, and supporting Agile and Waterfall delivery activities
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, business analysis, technology delivery, or a related field
. Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and software delivery processes
. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies
. Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
. Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple teams and workstreams
. Strong written and verbal communication skills
. Experience preparing project documentation, status reports, and meeting materials
. Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar project planning tools
. Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, or related collaboration tools
. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
. Basic understanding of project risks, issues, dependencies, and change management
. Ability to work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders
. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
. Exposure to cloud based technology initiatives, preferably AWS, is a plus
. Experience in Financial Services or another regulated industry is a plus
Desired Skillset:
PMP, PMI ACP, Scrum Master, or other project management certifications are preferred but not required
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100,800.00 $127,500.00.
