The Junior Technician will be responsible for the proper installation of Geolog’s mobile laboratory on oil rigs onshore and offshore and for the maintenance of equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but not limited, to: - Mobile Laboratory installation and equipment maintenance: To install, test, maintain, repair damaged equipment, to refurbish and control equipment returning to the base from the field
- Field support: To regularly contact field operations for support and assistance, to train crew members on equipment maintenance, to give field equipment support and to perform equipment installation on oil rigs when required.
- Store: inventory and warehouse organization, monitoring the level of spares and consumables
- Technical Documentation: to ensure the technical and Health & Safety documentation is complete and updated in the mobile laboratories in the field
REQUIREMENTS:- Electronics and/or IT specialization
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a technical role
- Driving License
- Fluent in English.
- Highly organized with ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work alone on projects as well as within a group / team
