The Knowledge manager ensures information and knowledge assets are properly created and applied enterprise-wide to improve decision-making. Knowledge Management includes all actions to ensure creation, collection, validation, storage, distribution, assimilation, and application of knowledge within the organization.
- Provide input to Knowledge Management Plan based on business process analysis and innovations in enterprise information technology knowledge management solutions.
- Execute knowledge management functions to include creation of knowledge portal sites, knowledge audits, process analysis, and SharePoint performance monitoring
- Improve the customer’s efficiency and effectiveness for both IT systems and business processes.
- Contribute to a Government provided Knowledge Management portal that provides status of Knowledge Management activities to the Government Knowledge Manager.
- Employ Knowledge management resources to support internal and external IT service management priorities.
- Play a team member role of five in the design and implementation of the Knowledge Management architecture.
Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
8-10 years of related experience.
