PURPOSE OF JOB:
The primary responsibility of the Laboratory Database Administrator is to enter and maintain client accounts, unit codes, and other related master file definition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up new accounts and update change requests on lab and financial systems
Process Salesforce requests for new accounts, account change request and territory changes
Identify and update Antech Imaging accounts with AIS account numbers or create new accounts if not defined.
Enter and update related client menus, (autodial, reflex, client TRF preprints, MA opt out)
Update info in Antech Online that isn’t automated
Monitor change request box to process change requests in the MIS database from CS and other departments such as: update client demographics, update fax numbers, define/remove client reflexes or MA reflex opt out, autodial definition, TRF preprint changes, Antech Online definition updates, weekend rotation to monitor box once a month, and client territory changes
Set up client reflex requests from sales or CS
Create new unit codes and update specimen requirements for unit code definition. Set up new test codes, unit codes worklists.
Enter updates and changes for codes and profiles
Security definition
Set up new users on ENVI (purchasing system), and lab system with proper approvals and access forms.
Review term lists to remove access for employees for security definition
Reset passwords as requested
Assist with audit requirements/documentation by pulling requests, maintaining monthly logs and files, auditing requests for approvals, and printing reports/files for semi-annual security review
Answer email requests and phone calls from sales regarding account set up (professional courtesy or reflex setup)
Test new menus/procedures for special projects as needed in order to streamline process to be more efficient
Assist with various projects to set up groups of accounts or set up codes, analyze and compare to determine codes and accounts to set up
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
2+ years’ experience
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with emphasis on Excel proficiency
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Extensive sitting, phone, and computer use
Extend and reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers
Occasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or crouch
May be required to lift, move, and carry up to 10 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Hearing ability to effectively communicate via the telephone and in person
Ability to communicate verbally on the telephone and in person
Verbal and written competency in the English language
The Target Pay Range for this position is $33 - $43 hourly. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
