Your future duties and responsibilities:
Job Overview – Java Developer
A Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies. They work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and efficient applications that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8/11/17 or later).
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
Understanding of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant experience in Java application development (typically 1–5+ years depending on the role).
