Job Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Developer with expertise in the Symfony framework to join our team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications using Symfony, guiding the development team, and ensuring best coding practices. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a remote setting, values clean code, and has a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust web applications using the Symfony framework (PHP).
• Migrate from old version to the latest one
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure solutions are delivered.
• Design database structures and optimize query performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Lead Developer with a strong focus on Symfony framework (5+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and modern deployment practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly in a remote environment.
• Experience in agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

Desired Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
