We are looking for a Lead Developer to provide technical leadership across a multi-site, global web platform. This role owns architecture, technical standards, and development best practices, while working closely with distributed teams and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
Define and own web architecture and technical standards
Guide development across legacy CMS platforms and modern frameworks
Review code and mentor senior, mid-level, and junior developers
Make decisions on tooling, frameworks, and best practices
Collaboration & Delivery:
Partner with DevOps on CI/CD, environments, and reliability
Support planning, estimation, and technical risk assessment
Act as escalation point for complex technical issues
Ensure consistency and quality across all web properties
Job requirements
Qualifications:
8+ years of professional web development experience
Strong experience with React and/or Vue.js
Solid background with Drupal and WordPress
Proven experience leading or mentoring engineers
Strong communication, decision-making, and ownership mindset
Nice to have:
Experience designing shared platforms or design systems
Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure
Experience working in enterprise or multi-brand environments
