About the LEAD Program
LEAD is Orascom Construction's flagship early-career talent program, designed to develop high-potential engineering graduates into the next generation of technical and business leaders.
The program provides participants with structured development, hands-on project exposure, cross-functional rotations, mentorship, and learning experiences that accelerate professional growth while building a strong foundation for long-term careers within Orascom Construction.
Job Purpose
The LEAD Engineer will participate in a structured development journey that combines practical site experience, cross-functional business exposure, technical learning, and leadership development. Participants will work alongside experienced professionals on landmark projects while gaining a comprehensive understanding of Orascom Construction's operations and business.
The program is designed to prepare engineers for future technical and leadership roles through real project experience and continuous development.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in structured rotations across engineering and business functions.
- Contribute to live construction projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.
- Support project planning, execution, coordination, and reporting activities.
- Apply engineering knowledge to solve technical and operational challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across different business functions.
- Participate in learning, coaching, mentoring, and development activities throughout the program.
- Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Adhere to Orascom Construction's Health, Safety, and Quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Civil Engineering
- Construction Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
Academic Requirements
- Excellent academic standing (or equivalent).
- Strong command of English.
- Graduation Project with a strong academic performance is an advantage.
- Scholarships, academic honors, or awards are considered a plus.
Experience
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Internship or practical engineering experience is preferred.
- International exposure or exchange programs are considered a plus.
- PMP Certificate is considered a plus.
