We are looking to hire a Lead Full Stack Developer to spearhead the transformation of a legacy product for our client. You will lead a dedicated team in the strategic effort to rewrite and extend a legacy system, transitioning it into a modern React-based architecture.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead the architectural design and execution of rewriting legacy components into modern React.

• Directly manage and mentor a full-stack engineering team, ensuring high standards of code quality and delivery.

• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and quickly absorb complex system details.

• Collaborate with developеrs, QA, designers, and stakeholders to define features and architecture.

• Integrate APIs and manage database interactions efficiently.

• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for management, providing regular progress updates on the legacy migration.

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and security.

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 5+ years of development experience

• Proficient with JavaScript framework – React

• Knowledge of Typescript

• Solid knowledge with PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks).

• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

• Familiarity with modern web development practices (REST, GraphQL, microservices).

• Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage deliverables proactively.

• Proficiency in debugging and test automation.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Very good leadership and soft skills, with the ability to navigate high-stakes stakeholder environments.
