We're looking for a Lead Full Stack .NET Engineer to architect and develop scalable, reliable solutions for financial and insurance platforms, collaborating within an Agile Scrum environment to produce well-tested, high-quality code while guiding fellow developers and championing technical best practices.
Responsibilities
- Create maintainable, testable, and efficient full-stack solutions in accordance with project requirements and industry standards
- Construct dependable RESTful services utilizing C# and .NET Core
- Architect, build, and fine-tune complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting capabilities, particularly for accounting and financial systems
- Support applications that handle, report on, and reconcile financial and insurance data while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Support team objectives and assist fellow developers within an Agile Scrum framework
- Mentor junior developers and cultivate a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, delivering coding solutions aligned with financial and business objectives
- Meet deadlines consistently and engage actively in sprint planning and review sessions
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 7 years' experience building full-stack web applications with end-to-end delivery capability
- Skilled in C#, .NET Core, Kafka/Service Bus, Azure Blob Storage, REST APIs, and microservices design
- Strong background in MS SQL, covering query optimization, stored procedures, and database architecture
- Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Azure
- Practical experience building web applications with a modern framework such as Vue.js, ReactJS, or Angular
- Direct experience applying DevOps practices for CI/CD, release management, and automation using tools like Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, GitHub, Azure ARM, or Terraform
- Capable of working independently within a collaborative team setting
- Solid leadership qualities and strong teamwork abilities
- Skilled at engaging with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities
- Capable of clearly documenting requirements and technical specifications
- Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Experience within the insurance or financial services sector
- Practical background using the Vue.js framework
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Awareness of current business trends
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy
