Lead I - Python, AWS, SQL

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, event-driven architectures using Kafka, and containerization with Docker, along with a solid understanding of authentication and authorization flows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services using Python
• Build and manage event-driven systems and integrations using Kafka
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, API security)
• Containerize applications using Docker and ensure smooth deployment
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for end-to-end delivery
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of services
• Follow best practices in coding, testing, and CI/CD pipelines

Mandatory Skills

• 6+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong programming expertise in Python
• Hands on experience with SQL
• Experience with Kafka / Event-driven architecture preferred (not mandatory)
• Experience with Docker and container-based development
• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Expertise in building REST APIs and microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of system design and scalable architectures
