Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with mandatory expertise in Automation Testing, API Testing, Python, and AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications and cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Develop and execute automated tests for UI, API, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Build and maintain automation solutions using Python.
- Design, develop, and execute API automation frameworks using PyTest, Postman, and REST APIs.
- Validate web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
- Perform database testing and SQL validation to ensure data integrity and adherence to business requirements.
- Integrate and execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain reusable automation utilities, libraries, and testing tools.
- Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as k6 and/or JMeter.
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot issues in AWS environments, leveraging services such as CloudWatch.
- Collaborate with Developers, DevOps Engineers, Product Owners, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
- Track defects and testing activities using Jira and manage source code through Git/GitHub.
- Participate in test strategy discussions, test planning, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
- Extensive experience in API Testing and API Automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python for automation framework development and test scripting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud application testing.
- Experience with PyTest, Postman, REST APIs, and automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with SQL and database validation/testing.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
