Lead I - Software Testing (Selenium, Java, API)

We are looking for a Senior Java Test Engineer  with strong expertise in Java, RESTful API and GraphQL testing, and deep knowledge of test frameworks and test processes. The ideal candidate will contribute to quality strategy, test automation architecture, and validation of complex backend and microservices-based systems.

• Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and quality standards
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based automated test frameworks
• Perform functional, integration, and system testing for:
  
  • RESTful APIs
  • GraphQL services
• Validate backend services and microservices interactions
• Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable test components
• Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios, edge cases, and risks
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and quality
• Review test cases, automation code, and test execution results
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
• Work within Agile/Scrum development environments

Core Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java
• Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs
• Experience testing GraphQL APIs
• Deep knowledge of test frameworks such as:
  
  • JUnit
  • TestNG
  • Cucumber (BDD)
• Experience with API automation tools and libraries

Testing Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Test Processes, STLC, and QA methodologies
• Experience with:
  
  • Functional testing
  • Integration testing
  • Regression testing
• Knowledge of test design techniques and test data management

Automation & Tools

• API automation using Java-based frameworks
• Experience with build tools (Maven / Gradle)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of code versioning tools (Git)
