Job Description

We are working with another exciting client that is looking to bring on a Lead Mobile Application Developer.  In this role you will be accountable for leading the software development team in the definition through delivery of the flagship IoT, cloud and premised based mobile software products.  You will lead the definition, design, implementation and support of new and existing feature and functions along with managing the process in conjunction with other senior technical staff.

You will be responsible for verifying that the team is adhering to the company software development standards and practices.  You will also ensuring that the quality standards and productivity needs of the company are met.  In addition you will also be apart of the designing, development, delivering, and supporting of new and existing software features and functions.  Finally you will also mentor junior team members and champion the software development best practices. 



NOTE:  This is a full time role not a contract and only looking for candidates that don't require sponsorship.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a senior or lead technical role developing commercial software
    applications.
  • 5 years of hybrid mobile app development, design, and/or architecture
    experience on Android and/or iOS.

  • 3+ years Ionic development experience. We are looking for Ionic 2/3
    experience as well as Ionic 1.     
  • Experience migration from Ionic 1 to 2/3 is highly desirable.

  • Experience with mobile Bluetooth communications and location services.

  • Typescript and JavaScript experience.

  • Familiarity with web frontend techniques (HTML, CSS/SASS).

  • Knowledge of consuming HTTP based APIs/RESTful JSON APIs
  • Experience with Agile development processes

  • Experience with git, GitHub and JIRA

  • Demonstrated leadership driving process improvement, pushing quality upstream, and
    understanding of technical methodologies
  • Experience with UI/UX design.

  • Knowledge of iOS or Android native development.

  • Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, RS-422/485, etc.)

  • Experience in unit testing frameworks.

  • Experience in React Native.
