Job Description

Skills Required: Microservices, Uvicorn, Docker, FastAPI, Kubernetes. Knowledge of Monolith to Microservices migration is a plus.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with a strong background in Python development, particularly in Django and Flask frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with API development, integration of ONVIF protocols, working with Socket APIs, and a solid understanding of PostgreSQL for database operations. Additionally, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure DevOps is essential. This role involves working on Edge-based development using devices like Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, etc., and knowledge of MQTT/SIADC09 messaging protocols is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python applications with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Utilize Django and Django ORM to build robust web applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python APIs using Flask for seamless integration with various systems.
  • Integrate ONVIF protocols for video streaming and device control.
  • Implement Socket API functionalities for real-time communication and data exchange.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database optimizations in PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards through code reviews and best practices.
  • Work on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure DevOps for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Conceptualize and implement MQTT/SIADC09 messaging protocols for efficient communication.
  • Good to have: Understanding of Surveillance Camera/DVR/NVR/IP Camera Integration using ONVIF.

    Required Skills & Experience:
    Computer Science Graduate/Engineering/ equivalent hands-on experience.

    Proven hands-on experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects.

    In-depth understanding of Django framework and Django ORM for web application development.

    Proficiency in developing Python APIs using Flask, along with a solid grasp of RESTful principles.

    Experience in integrating and working with ONVIF protocols for video surveillance and device management.

    Strong knowledge of Socket API and API integration for real-time communication.

    Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.

    Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure DevOps for repository management.

    Ability to work on Edge-based development projects using devices like Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, etc.

    Conceptual understanding and practical experience with MQTT/CID messaging protocols.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

    Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
