Job Description

We are building scalable, secure Python services and need a Lead Python Developer to guide architecture and delivery across key initiatives. You will lead a collaborative team, partner on ReactJS integrations, and run AWS deployments while reinforcing best practices across the SDLC—apply now.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable backend systems and services
  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Lead code reviews and mentor engineers to maintain coding standards
  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot technical issues as they occur
  • Oversee integration of third-party APIs and external services
  • Create and update technical documentation for new and existing functionality
  • Champion best practices across the full software development lifecycle
  • Guide continuous improvement of team processes and technical capabilities

Requirements

  • Proven record of 5 years of relevant software development experience
  • Demonstrated experience of 1 year leading and managing development teams
  • Advanced Python expertise for building, evolving, and supporting applications
  • Hands-on experience with ReactJS to deliver user interfaces and connect to backend systems
  • Practical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying and operating cloud-based applications
  • Solid background in database design, administration, and performance tuning
  • Proficiency with Git for version control and team-based workflows
  • Experience using Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask
  • Working knowledge of Python web server setup, configuration, and deployment
  • Strong understanding of security best practices in software engineering
  • Experience delivering user authentication and authorization mechanisms
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
  • Excellent English communication skills (B2+ Upper-Intermediate or higher), written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Background in AI development or architecture, including machine learning models, AI feature integration, or scalable AI infrastructure
