We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to develop, enhance and maintain code while building back-end microservices and REST APIs for impactful projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance and maintain code
  • Build back-end microservices and REST APIs
  • Conduct unit testing
  • Perform code reviews
  • Follow best practices including code review, unit testing and continuous integration
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8 to 12 years of development work experience
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework and Kafka
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices architecture and WebLogic

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Computer Science
  • Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies
