Welcome to the Vermont Learning Collaborative, a non-profit educational service agency that offers programs and district services to serve the needs of the students and families of Southeastern Vermont.
We are seeking experienced special education teachers to develop and lead our new substantially separate social emotional learning classrooms for students grades K - 5 in the greater Windham County area of Southeastern Vermont. Job Requirements
Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Vermont
Master’s degree in Special Education
Experience working with students whose profiles require therapeutic support and approaches. These students also need the most support in the areas of social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are necessary
Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines
Must be flexible and creative to be responsive to the changing needs of the agency.
At least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Leadership experience preferred.
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
Master degree preferred.
