We are seeking a Lead Training Support Specialist Engineering Technician.

Located on-site in Port Hueneme, CA.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for and communication with Manpower, Personnel, and Training Analysis Administration.
  • Develop and manage Navy Training Systems Plan and associated shipboard and computer-based training.
  • Interface with TYCOM's, ISICS, NAVEDTRA and NAVMAC while developing and monitoring training plans and related data in support of various Navy Combat/Weapon Systems training events.
  • Recommend corrective actions, develop alternatives, and prepare implementation plans to resolve issues within the training program.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable Engineering, Mathematics, or Business discipline.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of training experience with Navy Weapon/Combat Systems, operations, maintenance, or ISEA related equipment, demonstrating experience and ability to meet the job description requirements.

Skills and Abilities

  • One must have exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team.

Security Clearance:

  • Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
