The Leadership Program Manager has a crucial role within the VCA organization, responsible for the successful deployment and facilitation of the leadership training agenda.
This role requires excellent facilitation and communication skills, managing live in-person and virtual training program environments. Drives efficient and effective program/training deployment practices across multi-units and regions. This role requires strong collaboration skills, an understanding of leadership principles, and the ability to manage complex projects. This position partners closely with senior leaders across the organization to assess and deliver training needs in support of VCA’s goals and objectives. 20-25% travel is required for this position.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Facilitation: Facilitates highly engaging and interactive virtual and live in-person trainings and workshops across VCA. Collects and analyzes feedback from training for improvements and shares insights and recommendations with senior leaders.
Delivers train-the-trainer sessions and maintains the certification process of Field Trainers. Trains and coaches Certified Field Trainers to deliver consistent and quality in-person and virtual training experiences.
Business Partnering: Partners and consults with the Leadership Director and VCA leaders to assess hospital and regional leadership training needs, deploy nationwide training solutions, and recommend training resources and tools.
Learning Outcome Definition: Work with stakeholders to define clear and desirable learning outcomes. These outcomes should be closely aligned with the organization's performance expectations, ensuring that the leadership development programs are relevant and impactful.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to selecting, designing, and developing contemporary and relevant leadership development content. This may involve collaborating with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and content developers to create engaging and effective learning materials.
Team Management: Oversee teams responsible for the operational aspects of program delivery. This includes coordinating facilitators, trainers, data and reporting accuracy in Learning Management System and support staff to ensure smooth program execution. The Leadership Program Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the programs meet their objectives and that participants have a positive learning experience.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and analyze learning records and data related to leadership development programs. Use this information to assess the impact of the programs and make data-driven decisions. Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, including senior leaders and executives. These reports should highlight the effectiveness of the leadership development programs and any areas for improvement.
Maintains and completes assigned projects on time and within budget. Responsible for appropriate stakeholder management and change management throughout the execution of the assigned project.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Training/Education or related field, or equivalent
3 years of proven experience in teaching, training or facilitation
Veterinary Industry or related healthcare field
Certifications in either of the following: Situational Leadership SLXII, MBTI or DISC, Crucial Conversations, Korn Ferry 360, Coaching Certification, Virtual or In-Person Facilitation Training, etc.
Advanced in Microsoft Office
Ability to read, write and speak in English / French Canadian

[Required for CA, NY, WA, CO only]: Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $76,700 - $115,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
