Job Description

Job Title:  L2 IT Support Engineer

Contract: Permanent

Location: Limerick 


Overview:

Ergo are seeking an L2 IT Support Engineer for a permanent role in our client site in Limerick.

In this exciting and challenging role you will join a high-performing team supporting some of Ireland’s biggest companies on the MS Cloud stack (O365 / Azure).

You will work at the leading edge of IT engineering projects in Ireland and forge a career at a 5-time Microsoft Country Partner of the Year and current VMware POTY winner.

What will you do?

  • Provide remote and desktop support to local users on Microsoft stack
  • Get involved in project work
  • IT Administration and troubleshooting of Windows Server environment
  • System backups and storage
  • Network monitoring and support
  • Server / Desktop Virtualisation



You should have experience in some / all of the following?

  • Management of M365 (supporting Teams, Exchange, One Drive etc.)
  • Management of MFA
  • Supporting and setting up Mobile Devices (MDM)
  • Active Directory, Domain Controllers, group policies, DNS
  • Good understanding of backup and restoration methods
  • Windows 10 configuration, operation and management
  • Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 administration and maintenance

 

The following experience is a real advantage:

  • Virtualisation (VMWare or Hyper-V)
  • Citrix Support or Administration
  • Microsoft System Centre Suite (SCOM, SCCM. SCORCH)
  • Azure Administration/Configuration
  • Professional certifications
