R.E. Beckner Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our Underground Utility Crew. This position will operate a front-end loader in support of underground utility installation and site development work.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a front-end loader on active construction sites
- Load, move, stockpile, and backfill materials
- Support underground utility crews installing water, sewer, and storm systems
- Work safely around trenches, excavators, pipe crews, trucks, and other equipment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Assist with general crew duties when needed
- Follow company and job site safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a loader required
- Underground utility or site development experience strongly preferred
- Ability to safely operate around trenches and ground personnel
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and on active construction sites
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
