We are seeking a Logistics Specialist SME.
Located on-site in Chesapeake, VA.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide technical, and analytical data services to accomplish maintenance and modernization advance planning, work package development and integration, and work package execution.
- Perform analysis for BA-ISEA and assigned ships on supported shore and ship maintenance systems, databases, and interfaces. The objective is to maintain and modify support services to improve BA-ISEA applications, such as Navy Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM), Retain Operations Management (ROM3), Food Service Management (FSM), Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) Optimized Organizational Maintenance activity (OOMA), Naval Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (N-MRO) and Navy Operational Supply System (NOSS).
- Support with configuration inquires resolution of deficiencies, validations/inspections, analysis, training, and maintenance/modernization.
- Respond to ILS/Configuration inquires that may require validations including updates to CDMD-OA.
- Resolve ILS issues relating to support, configuration, and allowances.
- Provide technical assistance for assessment and inspection teams.
- Review and track bulk upload reports prior to ship uploading.
- Providing tasking to ILS personnel, monitoring progress, and reviewing artifacts for completeness.
- Attend ILS status meetings and ILS reviews.
- Communicate/Transfer program metrics to ILS Lead.
- Identifying ILS risks and project opportunities.
Education and Experience:
- Eight (8) years of hands-on experience with software maintenance to include three (3) of the following five (5) areas: System Administration, Software Maintenance and Sustainment, Lifecycle Logistics, Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and/or public service (e.g., federal, state, or local) leadership in supporting DoN maintenance, logistics, and business systems.

- Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.
