Now Hiring: Machine Operator – 3rd Shift

Location: Northeast Houston, TX
Pay: $20.00 per hour | Weekly Pay
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Openwork is partnering with a respected manufacturing company in Northeast Houston to hire an experienced Machine Operator for their overnight shift. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with industrial equipment, staying active throughout the shift, and contributing to a high-quality production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor large industrial production equipment.
  • Set up machines according to production specifications.
  • Operate a 15-foot press and assist with a 500-ton production machine.
  • Read work orders, blueprints, and production schedules.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain production records as needed.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience required.
  • 2+ years of machine operating experience required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and move materials throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
