Antech Imaging Services (AIS) has multiple software projects ongoing simultaneously, both internal and external to MARS. Responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing complex projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Their duties include dividing up their budget for different project aspects and advocating for additional funding when necessary, hiring freelance professionals or selecting project team members from existing departments and setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning, executing, and monitoring software projects in order to meet requirements while controlling budget, scope, and timeline

  • Experience or skill effectively exchanging and understanding in extreme detail the AIS system and all functionality, including but not limited to various programming languages and a general knowledge of Oracle databases. Ability to work with and communicate verbally and/or in writing to a diverse group

  • Experience creating detailed SOW (Statement of Work) for each programming project, and then work with a divers group of associates and contractors to carry out the SOW.

  • Manage and provide direction to team of programmers

  •  Experience or skill managing time in order to complete tasks quickly and efficiently

  •  Familiarity with one or more project management methodologies like Scrum, Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, or Kanban

  •  Ability to organize workload, processes, or physical objects and spaces

  •  Experience managing project and product scope, including identifying deliverables and goals to help mitigate changes to a project

  • Experience or knowledge of maintaining a formalized system that documents processes, procedures, and responsibilities for achieving quality policies and objectives. Includes Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Systems

  • Must be familiar with java, java script, HTML5, and creating APIs.

  • The associate will oversee projects involving 3-4 associate programmers, and depending on the project 5-10 contract programmers. Must have the ability to keep everyone on task, and deliver code on time.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's in Science or higher in computer science

  • 5 years experience in managing multiple large software projects

  • 3 years experience working with java based products, cloud services, etc.

The associate is regularly required to apply manual dexterity, including hand/wrist flexibility, for computer keyboarding.  The associate frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.  The associate is frequently required to hear and speak in order to use the telephone, make presentations and communicate with people in an office environment.  The associate is occasionally required to sit and stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch.  The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

The associate will primarily work in a typical office environment including use of cubicles, computers and overhead lighting. Temperature extremes will be minimal to nonexistent.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The associate will be required to use a computer, spreadsheets, data base management, email, and the Internet.  The associate is frequently required to use a calculator; fax, copy machine, and phone system.  The associate must occasionally use media equipment such as an overhead projector, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. 

The Target Pay Range for this position is $122,000 to $155,000 annually.
