MDP team, based in NetApp’s Bangalore, is pioneering the development of Enterprise Application Data Protection in Cloud. We are working on building a horizontally highly scalable SaaS architecture to support the requirements of large enterprise customers by using state of the art tools available for microservices and K8s ecosystem like Mango DB, Elastic Search, RabbitMQ, Prometheus, fluentd, Grafana etc. This is your chance to lead a team of talented developers, impart your vision, and rapidly develop next generation cloud data protection solutions.
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a blended team of Software Developers and QA Engineers. You will lead teams through design, implementation, and support of projects to solve our customers’ big data challenges working with Product Managers, Program Managers, Technical Architects and Support Organizations. Throughout this process, you will also manage the growth and development of team members.

• Experience with Java, and/or GoLang and Distributed Systems
• Experience delivering software in an agile organization
• Experience recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineers
• Experience in managing the products deployed with high end customers and supporting the products for quality and timely delivery incremental features.
• Experience in building strong CI/CD for product development
• Experience in storage systems, using docker containers and Kubernetes is highly desired
• Total 12+ years of experience with 2+ years in people management
Education
IC - Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
BE or MS degree preferably in Computer Science
