Job description

EB’s Reliability Team develops and implements objective, data-driven processes to increase equipment availability and reliability to world class standards. The Reliability Manufacturing Representative plays a key role in execution of the Reliability Program objectives, supporting operational continuity and excellence.

 

In this role, the candidate will:

  • Evaluate equipment for the purpose of:
    • Documenting equipment subsystems and components
    • Identifying deficiencies that may lead to failures
    • Identifying critical spare parts and their respective minimum/maximum inventory levels
    • Determining modifications that need to be made to improve equipment reliability
  • Work collaboratively to develop:
    • Customized Lock Out/Tagout procedure
    • Customized Operator Daily Checklists
    • Equipment-specific training
    • Optimized Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures using formal risk assessments, historical data, predictive opportunities, OEM recommendations, etc.
  • Plan and facilitate Total Productive Maintenance events, Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System events, Failure Mode and Effects analyses (in conjunction with Reliability Engineering), and root cause analyses
  • Serve as a change agent for EB's predictive maintenance program by supporting predictive inspections, educating personnel on predictive benefits and methodologies, and helping develop and implement enabling systems and processes

Position responsibilities:

  • Develop and/or complete:
    • Subcomponent hierarchies
    • Risk assessments and potential solutions
    • Spare parts requirements
    • Equipment modification recommendations or changes
    • Optimized preventive maintenance procedures
    • Condition and criticality assessments/documentation 
    • Failure Mode and Effects analyses
    • Equipment-specific training in conjunction with other organizations
  • Facilitate events to identify, analyze, and resolve equipment failure risks
  • Execute acquisition and commissioning of new equipment/facilities as specified by both formal and informal documentation
  • Directly modify or coordinate external support for modification to equipment to support improved reliability
  • Lead and/or support completion of reliability-related projects and programs

Works under the supervision of the Reliability Program Lead.

 

This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance and/or relevant trades experience

Preferred:

  • Experience w/ predictive maintenance or condition monitoring
  • Electrical, Mechanical, or Hydaulic systems experience 
  • Experience with preventive maintenance procedure development
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodology
  • Experience with Corrigo CMMS
  • Experience with IBM Maximo EAM
  • Trade-specific licenses or certificates 
  • Verbal and written communication skills
